We aim to make switching from another provider as painless as possible. In most cases, directly after you switch, you and your employees will be able to start sending all of your claims and receipts to us immediately -- irrespective of the dates of those receipts and events.

For example, if your benefit year normally runs 1 January to 31 December, we will usually set it up so that after the switch, we can process all receipts dating back to 1 January. You will effectively continue to enjoy an uninterrupted 1 January to 31 December benefit year. If you are still early in your current benefit year (so that your previous year is still in "runoff"), we will even investigate if we can allow receipts dating further back.

Each switch we work with can be slightly different and therefore they need to be handled on a case-by-case basis. To start we need to collect some quick information. Please fill out as much of the following information as you can, and a customer service agent will follow up with you.

As noted, usually we will aim to make your new plan effective from the start of your present benefit year. Let us know if you desire a *different* effective date for your new plan instead.


Are you presently utilizing a "credit carry forward" (carrying forward any unused portion of health spending account dollars for a maximum of one year), or "expense carry forward" plan (resetting the health credits or dollars each year, but allowing employees to claim old receipts in the following period)? Would you like to change your carry forward strategy at this time? This switch is an opportune time to change your carry forward strategy to the one that best suits your business needs. Our experience suggests that small companies generally prefer expense carry forward.
